In 2014, two graphic designers in Barcelona challenged themselves to create something new everyday, and later decided to invite others to join them in this challenge. This was the advent of the 36 days of Type challenge celebrating creativity and typography. Each April, a new edition of the challenge starts. I have been participating since 2018. It's a fun challenge to create a new design for the letters and numbers of the alphabet. It is even more fun to see all the amazing work other participants create during the challenge. Going back and reviewing the work I created for it each year is a cool way to see how much I've grown in my illustration and lettering skills.
